Create this fabric lighted Halloween garland in no time for a spooky Halloween glow. It’s an easy Halloween craft and a great way to add some color and texture to your Halloween decor.

Although I can’t say Halloween is my favorite holiday, the kids love it and we always have a lot of fun with our Halloween traditions. We love going to the pumpkin patch, having a Halloween dinner and scary movie night, planning Halloween parties, and, of course, carving out our jack-o-lanterns. I’m not really into all of the gory Halloween decor, but I love coming up with fun ways to add just a little spookiness to our home
It’s another week of our fall seasonal simplicity series and, if you haven’t already guessed, this week is all about Halloween DIY and craft projects! There are lots of fun and easy Halloween craft projects for you to try. Plan a ladies’ craft night, do them with your kids, or put on Netflix for a little background entertainment while you craft away. You can find all of the awesome ideas at the end of the post.

I generally wait to put up our Halloween decorations until after Thanksgiving which is the first weekend in October for those of you not in Canada. This year, however, I ended up getting started a little earlier and put up our Halloween hot chocolate bar. It’s kind of hard to go wrong with hot chocolate, right?

I love the glow of lights at night and wanted to add a little more color to our hot chocolate bar. This scrap fabric lighted Halloween garland did just the trick! I wish I could capture the night-time glow on camera, but it just doesn’t do it justice.

This simple Halloween craft is quick and easy to do with just a couple of supplies. Customize it with whatever colors and patterns you like.

See? It’s super easy to do and a great project if you have a little Netflix binging going on. You might even have to make up a few. These Halloween garlands work great on a Halloween mantel, Halloween tablescape, or any Halloween vignette. This would also be a fun craft to do with your kids and then use it to decorate up their room. Where would you use it?
